Description Alex Latchford 2006-11-29 19:53:43 UTC
Please describe the problem:
Hello,

I am linking to this bug,
https://bugs.launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/73793
where EvanCarroll has pointed out that you can move the default folders to inside of each other, it causes an error message (about re-routing folder paths), however I think that it's against logic more than anything else is what the user is commenting on.

Original Description:
Can move default folders, ie inbox, trash into other folders.

I personally believe these folders should be pegged, and moving them should be impossible. There Is no real reason to allow deviation from the outlook'ish default, and it just confuses users when they are able to move their inbox, into their sent items, into the trash, into drafts.

This should also be flagged as low priority.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Open Evolution
2. Drag Inbox folder into Sent folder

Actual results:
Inbox folder is copied into Sent folder.

Expected results:
An error message stating that you cannot move default folders.

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

It doesn't happen with imapx account in Evolution 3.2.0 for me.

Can you please check again whether this issue still happens in Evolution 3.0.3 or 3.2.0 and update this report by adding a comment and changing the "Version"
field? Thanks a lot.

Please feel free to reopen this bug if the problem still occurs with a newer
version of Evolution.
