Description Sven Herzberg 2006-11-26 01:16:39 UTC
This is something I've been thinking about a LOT. It would be great if we had a "behaviour" (eg. draggable) that could be assigned to an item and it would automatically register necessary callbacks for this behaviour.

This could work as well for these uses:
 * resizing/rotating items (eg. like Sodipodi/Inkscape do)
 * popping up context menus would be a nice use case as well (because there would
   be just a little data that would need to be connected to the behaviour)

It would a a nice idea to implement use this to implement a scrollbar (using the draggable behavior and limiting it to one direction or the size of the parent...).

Criawips development has been stalled and it has been unmaintained for a few years now. Maintainers don't have future development plan so i am closing bugs as WONTFIX. Please feel free to reopen the bugs in future if anyone takes the responsibility for active development.
