GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 379220
first row not imported as series labels
Last modified: 2009-12-24 03:55:22 UTC
I will attach a test case here, made in OOCalc. In Calc, you can see the A2:F2 cells being used as the series names in the graphic legend. When opened with gnumeric, the "first column is a label" works, but the "first row is a label" does not work, it instead displays Series1, Series2, Series3...

As far as I can tell, Gnumeric's charting doesn't do what you are asking for. So it is not a problem with the import but an enhancement requiest for our charting engine.
My mistake. We should be able to import this correctly!
We import neither the x-axis labels nor the series labels.
This is now fixed in gnumeric, ie. we now load the series names and make sure to add the correct abscissa.
