GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 378055
crash in Evolution: Chaging the configuratio...
Last modified: 2007-06-15 23:30:21 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed? Chaging the configuration of the SMTP server via the evolution prefferences page. I changed from a server using no authentication and TLS encryption which can only be used from within the university network ( Oxford University - smtp.ox.ac.uk ). The options were changed to use smtp.gmail.com witch requires SSL encryption and also needs authentication. The crash occured when I clicked on close after making the above changes. I reported the same issue a few weeks ago but unfortunatly there were no useful debug symbols in my stack trace. Hopefully the trace is more useful this time. Thanks. Nick.
