Description Dan McKinnon 2006-11-22 06:02:52 UTC
This bug has been around for a long time,

I'm using an LG laptop and an e3works stylo graphics tablette with the latest drivers for Windows XP. It works fine in every program except on GTK Canvas objects. This makes it so I can't paint in GIMP anymore.

The Y Axis is inverted on the canvas. The mouse cursor moves as expected (when I touch the top of the tablette with the stylus the mouse cursor jumps to the top of the screen, and if I touch the bottom the mouse jumps to the bottom of the screen), but when I touch the top of the screen, the _brush cursor_ (not the mouse cursor) jumps to the bottom of the _canvas_.

There is one solution I could think of. I'm not an expert on the GIMP source code, but if someone could add an option that reads '2 inverted' in the 'extended input device setup' section, under the 'y axis' pulldown, I think that would fix the problem.

Thanks

The configuration as well as the tablet handling code is in GTK+. Please specify the version of GTK+ that you are using so that we can reassign this report.
