It wasn't xterm as in the title, but it was gnome-terminal. I right-clicked once unintentionally on a terminal where I was doing a yum update, which caused all terminals to crash. This is the second time my terminal crashing. In the previous one, I was pasting (left and right mouse click) a text into the terminal when it crashed.
