Description Brenden 2006-11-17 21:04:56 UTC
Please describe the problem:
when you type a TAB cahracter with any font, it has a '9' in front of it, in some cases it is a 'H', but mostly ;9;.

Steps to reproduce:
1. create new image
2. create text object and type a TAB and anything else
3. there will be a '9' in front of every tab

Actual results:
inserts a TAB with a character prepended to it

Expected results:
insert a TAB, aka approx. 5 spaces worth of space

Does this happen every time?
yes

Comment 1 Brenden 2006-11-17 21:08:07 UTC
it seems that gimp is prepending the previously entered character...

example:
i type 'helloTAB, world' it has it correct int he edit text box, but in the image it does...

'helloo ,world'

this is on ubuntu with gnome fyi. Doesn't happen in windows xp.
