Description Alan 2006-11-15 01:49:48 UTC
Steps to reproduce:
1. Click and drag desired window (in my case a Gaim chat window, 2.0 beta 3.1) to the workspace switcher
2. Watch as gnome-panel crashes and restarts

I doubt it's consistently reproducible, but this is what I did.

I hope this is useful. I'm not sure if what I included is the stack trace, it's what bug-buddy provided.

confirming as per dup.
Comment 3 Alan 2006-12-02 04:31:38 UTC
It seems it happened with Gaim both times, could it be merely coincidence?

A better stack trace would really help. Also, I'd love to know if the users are on Ubuntu and are using compiz.

Comment 7 Diego Escalante Urrelo (not reading bugmail) 2007-01-15 10:45:19 UTC
I wasn't using compiz, and I was using Ubuntu.
I reproduced this again some days ago, however my bug-buddy seems broken in some way because it never appeared.
Comment 8 Alan 2007-01-25 03:47:44 UTC
I was also on Ubuntu, but no fancy 3D at all (sadly).
Comment 9 Vincent Untz 2007-02-18 08:22:24 UTC
Just as a note: the libwnck debug package is the one that's important to have here.
