What were you doing when the application crashed? I just completed entering a memo description for a transaction while in split view. Then pressed the down arrow key (I thought it would move cursor to the memo area of the other split line), this is when it crashed. XMMS was open at the time but was not playing. Also a pop-up opened (in notification area of Gnome panel) indicating there were packages available for updating the Fedora system.
