Description Michael Wood 2006-11-11 00:46:20 UTC
You can no longer configure the options for screensavers in gnome-screensaver. This might have been seen as a good thing (to simplify) but some screensavers depend on the user being able to configure it.

E.g. Pictures folder, text screensavers, any GL based screensaver etc.

Also seems a bit unfair on the developers who have put time and effort into creating interesting screensavers when you can change the options that they have provided (like flux which has 25 presets!)
