Comment 18 Karsten Bräckelmann 2006-11-12 15:44:20 UTC
I believe bug 373873 to be the very same issue.

*All* duplicates are on FC6 Zod (with 2 exceptions of Rawhide). The first report ever is this one (Rawhide), the first report on Zod was at 2006-11-10 20:59 UTC. 41 reports total so far, within 42 hours.

Note: This bug has been added to the auto-stacktrace-reject list. This is a
counter measure, to stop the flood. However, please note that this
effectively means there will be no new duplicates with the above exact
stacktrace. If you need more info, contact the Bugsquad.

No new duplicates does *not* mean this bug to be magically fixed.

Given the pretty sharp starting date, this most likely can be nailed down to a particular update in Fedora. Possibly NOTGNOME. Maybe Fedora just was the first to update.

Confirming for obvious reasons. Priority urgent, Severity blocker.

See bug 372471 for a similar, possibly related issue.
Comment 19 poneil 2006-11-12 17:06:20 UTC
I use the nautilus file browser frequently and infrequently do updates (sigh, because I am afraid of this sort of thing happening, among other reasons). This issue came up right after I did an update. My bug was 374134 marked as duplicate of 373873 marked as duplicate of this bug. I installed the nautilus debug info package nautilus-debuginfo-2.16.2-3.fc6.i386 and think there is a little more info to go on with this stacktrace. Hope it is useful. If necessary, I can add additional debuginfo packages as needed. Hope this can be solved quickly. It really is crippling to the nautilus browser, since it renders useless the ability to pull down the directory switcher to nav. somewhere else...

That said, thanks for all your hard work!
