What were you doing when the application crashed? After I upgraded from FC5 to FC6 each time I log in I get bug buddy report that gnome-settings-deamon has crashed. This time I have logged out as user and logged in. While I was logging out I attached additional LCD monitor (this is my laptop machine). When I logged in back, instead of walpaper I get black background without icons and this bug report.
