Description Karderio 2006-10-28 10:15:46 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
I opened Nautilus and started browsing for files. A couple of minutes later, the crash occured. I was simply opening directories by double clicking - nothing else. I had not opened any files.

I realize this stack trace could be of no use, but I think it may be best that I file a report each time an app crashes, at least it will let you generate stats ;)

If there is no point filing bug reports like this, please tell me.

btw : if the bug report tool chould tell me *what* has crashed it would be nice.

btw : the bug report tool does not resize correctly (large unused space at bottom when details hidden). A maximize button would let me see all the text I am typing without messing...

When I reported this bug I thought that the application causing the problem was gnomebaker as I had this app open and the icon in the bug report tool resembled Gnomebaker's. When I saw Nautilus's window frozen I thought it was nautilus. Looking at the title of the bug, it appears to be nautilus's CD/DVD creator causing the problem...

I'm adding this comment to specify that Gnomebaker was open, in case this is important. As the bug report tool seems to have a nice text sting at it's disposition for inclusion in the bug title, could it not display this to the user to avoid any confusion ?

Love, Karderio.

looks unique, a crash caused by cairo

Thanks for taking the time to report this bug.
However, this application does not track its bugs in the GNOME Bugzilla. We kindly ask you to report the bug to the application authors. For a selective list of other bug tracking systems please consult http://live.gnome.org/Bugsquad/TriageGuide/NonGnome.

If the affected third party application has a bug tracking system you should investigate whether a bug for the reported issue is already filed in this system. If it has not been filed yet please do so. Also ensure that both bug reports contain a link to each other.
Thanks in advance!
