Description williamts99 2006-10-24 20:57:37 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed?
Evolution does not play my mp3 file to alert me to my new email, does play wav file just fine though.

Distribution: Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy)
Gnome Release: 2.16.1 2006-10-02 (Ubuntu)
BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0
Comment 1 André Klapper 2006-10-27 23:54:55 UTC
enhancement bug, not a crasher.
Comment 2 André Klapper 2012-01-28 23:27:46 UTC
Confirming for 3.2.2. As the dialog lets me choose any kind of file and does not restrict it to WAV this is a bug.
Comment 3 André Klapper 2021-05-19 12:12:42 UTC
GNOME is going to shut down bugzilla.gnome.org in favor of gitlab.gnome.org.
As part of that, we are mass-closing older open tickets in bugzilla.gnome.org
which have not seen updates for a longer time (resources are unfortunately
quite limited so not every ticket can get handled).

If you can still reproduce the situation described in this ticket in a recent
and supported software version, then please follow
  https://wiki.gnome.org/Community/GettingInTouch/BugReportingGuidelines
and create a new bug report ticket at
  https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/evolution/-/issues/

Thank you for your understanding and your help.
