GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 364566
Text editing widgets should support keypad Insert/Delete for cut/copy/paste
Last modified: 2014-12-08 04:32:34 UTC
Single- and multi-line text diting widgets support the following key bindings: Ctrl+Insert: Copying Shift+Delete: Cutting Shift+Insert: Pasting This doesn't work with the numeric keypad versions of these keys, i.e. KP_Insert, KP_Delete, under X11, but it should.
For applications using GTK+ 2.18.7 in a desktop environment different from GNOME this still doesn't work.
