GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 363493
please change the default delete to trash behaviuor
Last modified: 2006-10-19 21:22:19 UTC
Please give us an option to change the default TRASH behavior! Since its really bad when U plug THUMB DRIVE in and then U delete something only to find out that it was only moved to trash! Now I know I can use SHIFT+DELETE, but try telling that to 1000 of our students who use UBUNTU linux on a daily basses and get very confused why did is there still so little room on the thumb drive, although they have deleted some files. And then the confusion gets worse, when they stick the same thumb drive into WinXP machine! Other information:
