GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 362299
be able to control power management for wifi
Last modified: 2007-06-03 19:15:48 UTC
Some people have wireless cards that support power management (I have an intel which uses the open ipw2100 module) all I have to do is a quick: iwconfig eth1 power on and all the sudden I get another 10-15 mins of battery life. it would be great if there were possibly a little checkbox in the preferences to turn power management on/off for a wireless card. (rehash of Bug 341796, reopening here as I was told)
