i miss the old behavior of pan where when new headers were downloaded, they were marked new, and the others were marked old.  Previously downloaded articles had a different font also.  This made it drastically easier to go back and get the articles that i had missed before, or weren't complete.  i could just spot them by the font.  now i have to go back and remember which them by numbers to download.
sorry if i've just missed some settings somewhere that would do this.
