GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 359744
crash in Galeon Web Browser: Just moved the last tab ...
Last modified: 2006-10-18 07:50:38 UTC
What were you doing when the application crashed? Just moved the last tab in a window, to another Galeon window. After trying to activate the latter window, Galeon crashed. Distribution: ALT Linux Sisyphus (20060401) Gnome Release: 2.16.0 2006-09-23 (ALT Linux Team) BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0 Memory status: size: 93011968 vsize: 0 resident: 93011968 share: 0 rss: 56061952 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 1159745231 rtime: 0 utime: 28240 stime: 0 cutime:27296 cstime: 0 timeout: 944 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 0 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/galeon' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/libthread_db.so.1". It was me who reported the crash, I specified the wrong mail. Anyway. In fact, Galeon has just crashed again in the same situation. To be more precise, there was no need to activate the target window, just simply to send the tab to it. Additional information that may be useful: this tab contained a NEWS file of GNOME 2.16.1 :) - ah, nevermind, a text file.
The stack trace in #363071 is a tad more concise so I'll mark this one a duplicate. Thanks for the report *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 363071 ***
