GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 358170
crash in Networking: Network Manager has prob...
Last modified: 2006-09-28 19:27:07 UTC
Version: 2.15.4 What were you doing when the application crashed? Network Manager has problem with non-typical broadcast setting. My setting is: IP 10.15.6.1, subnet 255.255.255.192, broadcast 10.15.6.63 I had to set up this manually because Network Manager didnt count broadcast from subnet. When set up throught /etc/network/interfaces properly - Network Manager crashes at start (probably dont know what to do with broadcast) Distribution: Ubuntu 6.10 (edgy) Gnome Release: 2.16.0 2006-09-04 (Ubuntu) BugBuddy Version: 2.16.0 Memory status: size: 32370688 vsize: 0 resident: 32370688 share: 0 rss: 11796480 rss_rlim: 0 CPU usage: start_time: 1159470606 rtime: 0 utime: 56 stime: 0 cutime:50 cstime: 0 timeout: 6 it_real_value: 0 frequency: 0 Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/network-admin' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1".
