Description Steve Brown 2006-09-27 23:14:03 UTC
Please describe the problem:
On DVDs that have been dubbed into another language, DVD audio cuts out when you select another language from the Sound menu if the DVD is currently playing back.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Insert a DVD and play it.
2. Leave the DVD playing. Choose a different language, e.g. French. from the sound menu.
3. Sound will cut out.
4. Rewind or seek. The disc will seek and the proper audio stream will resume.

Choosing one after the other has no different effect. E.g. leave the disc in play, and switch from English to French to Spanish to Director's Commentary. Any change forces you to rewind or seek to get the audio back.

Actual results:
Sound cuts out.

Expected results:
Sound changes to another language.

Does this happen every time?
This happens on every multi-language DVD I have tried.
