salut françois, before i try to set up an email with 108 attachments, i'd like to ask you if you could provide such an email to me by forwarding it to my email address, if the email does not contain any confidential data. thanks in advance. :-)
I send you the mail; Just something i just discovered: The fist time I try to save all the attachments, the second time I can only save 76 images, third time: 39, 4th: 23, ... Thanks

hi francois, sorry for getting back that late on your bug report. i saved all the attachments in evolution 2.9.1 and it works (means: no error and i could save all those files), so i guess that this issue is related to bug 346443 / bug 348888. quoting from http://mail.gnome.org/archives/evolution-list/2006-October/msg00130.html : The "too many open files" problem was fixed in Evolution 2.9.1. If your Linux distribution does not yet provide this, you can also try increasing the number of files your system allows you to have open before starting Evolution. But this is a temporary solution, and requires the root password. # su -c "ulimit -n <some-really-big-number>; evolution" therefore closing as a duplicate of bug 348888. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 348888 ***
