Description Mikko Kortelainen 2006-09-19 18:32:59 UTC
How about adding the possibility of encryption? It would give more confidence in entering passwords and other sensitive data. The key could be saved in the Gnome keyring and would work with the same principles as saved network passwords and wifi passwords...

For password storage, Tomboy is not really the preferred application. Try Revelation (http://oss.codepoet.no/revelation/) instead.
Comment 2 Sandy Armstrong 2007-02-25 15:29:04 UTC
Yet note encryption is something that may be considered for Tomboy as we enter the world of note sharing and synchronization.

Although this bug came first, I'm marking it as a dupe of bug #417316, since that one has a patch attached to it. I'm not sure how I missed this when I was searching! Thanks Mikko, Wouter.
