Description Antony Mee 2006-09-19 08:53:14 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I have an Intel Core Duo box and have two cpu scaling monitors running.

When I hibernate the system with software-suspend2 and resume it everything appears to work properly except for the applet monitoring the second cpu (CPU1) which just freezes (I think with the scaling at the time of hibernation shown)

Steps to reproduce:
1. Add applet for CPU1 to panel (and check it works -- at least it diaplays the status!!)
2. Hibernate
3. Resume
4. Test by changing the scaling somehow... (either by loading the processors of manually)

I've just committed a fix for this problem based on comments and patch attached to bug #376612. I should be fixed now in svn trunk. Feel free to reopen this bug if the problem persists for you.

I have just upgraded to Gnome 2.18 and am still experiencing this problem.

From About box "CPU Frequency Scaling Monitor 2.18.0".

I am using gentoo on Dell Inspiron 6400 with suspend2.
