GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 356669
Crashed Running Script-Fu Frosty Alpha to Logo
Last modified: 2008-01-15 14:08:46 UTC
Steps to reproduce: 1. Type some text into GIMP 2. Run Logo to Alpha "Frosty" from Menu 3. System locks Stack trace: Running WinGIMP 2.3.11 on Windows 2000. Error message is: Procedural Database execution failed: (gimp-edit-stroke 29) Other information: No,as noted I am running WinGIMP on Win 2000. D. Le Sage Hobart, Tasmania
Some more information for you: 1. Initially, it is only the "Frosty" script-fu plug-in that crashes, not all of GIMP. 2. However, once the user closes the error message for Frosty, a second problem arises. From the window for the still open graphic, select File->New. The usual "new image" dialogue box appears, asking for the dimensions of the new graphic. Just click on "Okay." An error then appears, noting that GIMEP itself has crashes and generated an error log. I am unable to find this error log. I am not sure where it would be stored on a Windows machine or otherwise I would supply it for you.

Apparently there is some problem with showing warning messages from script-fu and tiny-fu right now. See bug #345733. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 345733 ***
