Description Chris Lord 2006-09-03 13:46:04 UTC
Ubuntu bug: https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/58661

I've looked at the code and couldn't see why there was a shadow around this area (setting GTK_SHADOW_NONE on the viewport and the scrolled window made no difference)

Is this a purposeful change? Obviously it's a subjective matter, but I think unnecessary frames always look ugly.
Comment 1 André Klapper 2006-09-03 15:10:14 UTC
frame is needed to become scrollable when somebody has 300 accounts. :-/

I've written GTK apps that have scrollable views without visible frames though, is the frame purposeful or is that just a side-effect of it being made scrollable?
Comment 3 Sebastien Bacher 2006-09-04 09:22:28 UTC
that's not a duplicate, reopening

Frame is gone in 3.8 under gnome-shell. Closing.
