Description Ryan P Skadberg 2006-08-29 02:23:29 UTC
I've noticed a few times over the last few days (could be since the 2.15.92 update, not 100% sure) that the typing monitor is taking up just tons of memory. Currently:

 8805 skadz 15 0 104m 90m 8272 S 0.0 8.9 0:01.80 gnome-typing-mo

It was at something even more ridiculous like 400M this morning, but even 90M is out of control for an applet which is just keeping type basically.

I think you are getting hit by a bug in GTK+ that has been fixed in CVS a couple of days ago. Marking as dup.
