Description Samuli Kärkkäinen 2006-08-20 19:29:23 UTC
I have Pan downloading and saving binary articles using three connections, with about 500 articles in the queue. Pan makes the X server consume large part of the available CPU, such that other programs using X are sluggish. Watching a video file, for example, is not possible.

To make sure, this is clearly a bug, not normal behaviour.

The box is AMD 3200+, recent Gnome and other libs (Ubuntu Dapper). Pan 0.109.
