Some strings are not localized in the python plugins.

Here is two patches. The first one is ok since it just fixes longstanding bug in the use of gettext, but the second one breaks string freeze (it adds three translatable strings).

Patch has been committed with agreement of Danilo Šegan, and gi18n list has been notified.
