Description Kamil Páral 2006-08-15 08:48:27 UTC
EOG crashes when holding F11 (fullscreen) button. There has to be some other application windows visible on the background (eg Firefox) in order to slow the redraw process of switching via F11 and therefore bigger chance to crash. I was not able to crash EOG when having single EOG window on empty desktop. But if I make some app windows on the background, the crash is in a few seconds of holding F11 everytime. It may also depend on keyboard speed of repeating keys (when failing to simulate crash, try setting repeate ratio higher).

Steps to reproduce the problem:
1. launch few apps (eg firefox) and leave them visible
3. launch eog with some picture (maybe bigger is better)
3. hold F11
4. crash

Actual Results:
program crashes

Expected Results:
program doesn't crash

How often does this happen?
every time I have a few windows on background and try this

Additional information:
EOG 2.14.3, distribution Ubuntu 6.06.1, AMD Athlon 2500+, fglrx video driver

Thanks for the bug report. Without a stack trace from the crash it's very hard to determine what caused it.
Can you provide us with one? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.
