GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 348052
Tomboy notes not displayed after certain days (or number of notes?)
Last modified: 2008-02-26 20:49:53 UTC
Please describe the problem: I love this app, it keeps me organized. I have tons of notes that I made to remind myself to do things throughout the days and week. The problem is that about two days (or more, I'm not certain) after the post is made, it disapears from the main menu and gets "archived" in the table of contents. The problem with this is that I rarely access the table of contents unless I need a fast way to edit numerous posts and when the post isn't in the menu I completely forget that its there in the first place and end up not doing what I was supposed to. I understand I'm a pretty lazy person that needs way more time to do things, but I think 2 days (or even a predetermined limit) is just not enough and hinders the functionality of this application. If there was an option that either asked how many posts you'd like displayed on the main menu or setting an option on how many days till the post gets "archived," then that would be swell. But right now, I'm having trouble completing the tasks that are NOT listed in the main menu and I think its a really bad blow to this wonderfully useful application. By the way, I found so such option in gconf, so if I'm mistaken, I apologize. And I'm using the latest stable release of Tomboy, so I'm not sure if something like this exists in CVS. Steps to reproduce: 1. Wait a few days until the post is "archived" to the table of contents and no longer displayed in the main menu. 2. 3. Actual results: Expected results: An option to specify the number of displayed posts (prefferably a number or both) in the main menu or the number of days to display a post. Does this happen every time? Other information:
