Description Jason Brower 2006-07-17 04:33:00 UTC
Please describe the problem:
When I play a video at full screen the status bar never goes a way no matter how long the mouse doesn't move. It started doing this after setting up dual screen. The left screen has the full screen movie, and the right just sits there.(but that is a feature request.)

Steps to reproduce:
1.
2.
3.

Expected results:

Does this happen every time?

Does it go away after pressing 'A' a couple of times?
Is this with the xine-lib, or the GStreamer backend?
Comment 2 Jason Brower 2006-08-13 02:57:13 UTC
I will tell you if the letter A works, but my current solution is F over and over... in and our of full screen.
But if I try to adjust the volume with lirc the lines come back.
That would be another bug... shoing the volume controls when changing volume or track with lirc. They show up.
My new HD just went out. When I get the new one under warranty I will tell you as soon as I can. Thanks for helping.
And it is running xine back-end I wnat to to totem. But have only one dvd player in the house. :)
Comment 3 Bastien Nocera 2006-08-13 12:38:16 UTC
The popup pops up (ha) when using LIRC because otherwise there's no feedback that the volume has changed.
Please check whether 'A' fixes it, and that you have the latest version of xine-lib installed (1.1.2).

I have tried this on edgy and it doesn't seem fixed either... don't know if I have said it yet... bet the progress bar stops moving but the movie keeps going.
In otherwords, it drops the bar but the image is not erased.
Comment 6 Jason Brower 2006-11-11 15:23:19 UTC
And yes, the "A" button is a work around for it.
