GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 347451
Anoying gradient bouncing bug
Last modified: 2008-01-15 13:09:44 UTC
Please describe the problem: When I put my cursor on the gradient bar where the arrows are to change the side, the bar loses its mouse coordinate information. Doesnt sound all that bad, but then when its gone that area collapses and the bar MOVES! Then you move to select it again, and it appears (because its now the gradient and shows the coordinates). Now its back where it was, if you select again it falls back down and is IMPOSSIBLE to select! I have made a 2-frame .gif showing what it does, the one with the coordinates has the mouse on the gradient, the one without is when your on the bar. It may not look like it, but it is IMPOSSIBLE to select the bar... Not sure why, it worked fine before Steps to reproduce: 1. Open the gradient editor, and duplicate or create a new gradient. 2. Try putting your cursor on the gradient, then take it off and see if the information collapses down (shrinks) Actual results: The bars bounce around your cursor but dont let you select them and drag anywhere Expected results: If it does work, the gradient bar should bounce around your cursor but never actually let you click it Does this happen every time? Yes, on my other old computer, No It might be a bug in the registry or something (I dont know much about how GIMP works), but reinstalling didnt help at all Other information:
Created attachment 68885 [details] gradient bug animation this is what happens when you mouse on, or off of the gradient bar. It doesnt let you touch it though
