Description Matthew East 2006-07-02 11:51:00 UTC
Hi,

It would be nice to have some documentation about adding and configuring a printer with gnome-cups-manager.

Matt

How would the user access the related help from the Printers window?
Comment 2 Matthew East 2006-07-04 08:14:47 UTC
The traditional way appears to be via a Help menu, or a Help button.
Comment 3 Joachim Noreiko 2006-07-04 08:17:40 UTC
Yes, but I mean: is one of these likely to materialize once the documentation has been written?
Comment 4 Matthew East 2006-07-04 08:19:35 UTC
You'll have to talk to the maintainer about that I suppose. How did it work with all the other components?
Comment 5 Joachim Noreiko 2006-07-04 08:42:39 UTC
Filed bug 346524.

Bug 334294 tracks dialogs (and I guess other interface elements now) in need of Help buttons.

I'll get something basic in soon, so at least users performing a search in the User Guide are pointed in the right direction.
Comment 6 Joachim Noreiko 2006-07-06 14:19:15 UTC
I've added a new section 'Setting up a Printer' to the User Guide.
