GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 346382
False Positives in Catagory Search
Last modified: 2007-02-25 10:20:13 UTC
Please describe the problem: Searching for a catagory with the find option will produce incorrect results if the name of one catagory is nested inside another. Ex: You have 3 catagories "foo", "foobar" and "barfoo" searching for the catagory "foo" will return all the results contained by all three catagories. Steps to reproduce: 1. Make Catagories listed above 2. Add a photo to each catagory 3. Use Ctrl-F to use find, and search for the catagory "foo" Actual results: All photos contained in foo, foobar and barfoo are returned. Expected results: Only photos from catagory foo should be returned. Does this happen every time? Yes. Other information: (From Ubuntu Bug Report #48922) https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/gthumb/+bug/48922
This problem has been fixed in the development version. The fix will be available in the next major software release. Thank you for your bug report.
