GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 345786
the "unsubmitted changes to form elements" warning should recognize when a form was autofilled, and not warn in that case.
Last modified: 2006-09-08 11:59:56 UTC
when viewing a website with autofilled form elements such as a comment form on a movabletype blog (filled using javascript and a cookie) I'm warned before trying to close the window or navigate to another site. I have not typed anything into the form fields, and therefore, I am not comcerned about losing anything. Epiphany should recognize autofilled (as opposed to human filled) form fields and ignore them when deciding whether to warn about "unsubmitted changes to form elements" Thanks! Other information:
Confirming.
I am having what appears to be this issue with: http://www.theonion.com/content/node/52116 Ephy 2.16.0 with Firefox 2.0b1 on Ubuntu Edgy
