GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 345055
translation of "proxy login" needs translator comments
Last modified: 2013-09-13 00:52:35 UTC
fuck! frank, you're right, thanks a lot for correcting me, and sorry. anyway, i don't expect *every* translator to be such wise, so i'm changing this to an evolution bug... ;-) <andre> can somebody please explain me the meaning of the term "proxy" in the groupwise plugin? <Sankar> andre, It refers to a feature... by which one person can send/read mails/appointments using another person's identity <Sankar> without knowing his password..... * Sankar searches for the documentation of proxy <andre> i already expected that - so it has nothing to do with "proxy" in the sense of "http proxy", right? <Sankar> andre, yeah.... it is not at all related... <andre> we should add translator comments to that term. i was totally confused when i saw the german translation of "proxy login" and thought "what the hell?!"... <andre> okay, thanks :-)
fr.po: #: ../plugins/groupwise-features/proxy-login.c:505 msgid "_Proxy Login..." msgstr "_Identification sur le proxy..." that's wrong. :-)
fixed in stable branch and cvs head: http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/evolution/plugins/groupwise-features/proxy-login.c?r1=1.7&r2=1.8 http://cvs.gnome.org/viewcvs/evolution/plugins/groupwise-features/proxy-login.c?r1=1.6.2.1&r2=1.6.2.2 will send a mail to i18n mailing list to inform the translators.
