Description of the crash:

I was entering a new transaction into the register.  I typed 2 chars and
it offered me an autocomplete.  I pressed tab to accept and jump to the
withdraw column and gnucash crashed.

This is on debian testing.

Steps to reproduce the crash:
1. Don't know how - this is my first crash with 1.9.x

Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. 

This is almost certainly a register bug, but I can't even begin to tell what's going on because the stack trace is bogus.  This seems to be a problem with the debian package.

Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so.

Thomas, is this on your radar?  Until this is fixed, the stack traces from debian's GnuCash are almost useless.  AFAICT, no other packages have this problem.
