I typed 2 chars and it offered me an autocomplete. I pressed tab to accept and jump to the withdraw column and gnucash crashed. This is on debian testing. Steps to reproduce the crash: 1. Don't know how - this is my first crash with 1.9.x 2. 3. Expected Results: How often does this happen? Additional Information: Debugging Information: Backtrace was generated from '/usr/bin/gnucash' (no debugging symbols found) Using host libthread_db library "/lib/tls/i686/cmov/libthread_db.so.1". Thanks for the bug report. Unfortunately, that stack trace is not very useful in determining the cause of the crash. This is almost certainly a register bug, but I can't even begin to tell what's going on because the stack trace is bogus. This seems to be a problem with the debian package. Can you get us one with debugging symbols? Please see http://live.gnome.org/GettingTraces for more information on how to do so. [Adding Thomas Bushnell, BSG to cc] Thomas, is this on your radar? Until this is fixed, the stack traces from debian's GnuCash are almost useless. AFAICT, no other packages have this problem.
