IIRC, the presence chooser used to popup/dropdown when it was pressed. That is, it popped up before releasing the mouse button (just like menu items). This allowed single-click presence changes:

1. Press mouse button on chooser
2. Move mouse
3. Release mouse button

CVS HEAD only shows the dropdown chooser after button release. Is this change intentional?

Hm, no. I'll take another look (maybe we should just use the GtkComboBox now, I don't remember why we didn't do that...).
