Description Nico Kaiser 2006-06-08 22:32:34 UTC
When a song is dragged to the iPod several times, it is transferred several times, which results in duplicate songs on the iPod. This is particularily annoying while transferring overlapping playlists to the device (e.g. I'd like to transfer the union of all my playlist entries but one song can be in many playlists).

Banshee should avoid copying the same song to the iPod more than one time (the "local" path is saved on the iPod's iTunesDB, isn't it?).

I wouldn't consider this to be an enhancement request - this is definitely a bug. Changing severity.

There's been some talk of a generic duplicate handler implemented for all DAPs.

It's been over a year since any activity. I'm going to close as INCOMPLETE. Reopen if it needs attention. :-)
