Description Fernando Herrera 2006-06-01 15:32:20 UTC
It would be great to expose ffmpeg "two passes" encoding feature via gst-ffmpeg.
Maybe using a pass=first property and using a text sink for the log, and then adding a "previous-pass" or whatever.

Just wanted to note that this feature (2-pass encoding), along with other things, is included in the "patch" (enhancement) in http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344583.
It does not use text sink/source at the moment (a.o. for simplicity), but it seems a good start.
