Description Nick Smith 2006-06-01 11:44:35 UTC
When done setting configuration options on any dialog, you should be able to just press the enter key to okay your settings rather than use the mouse to click the OK button to do the same.

Other information:
When I create a new layer, just as an example, I type in the layer's name and press enter but nothing happens. I should just be able to start editting the layer right away after pressing the enter key which also activates the same function as if pressing the OK button with the mouse. This applies to any dialog. Currently, this behavior is only present when renaming a layer (double-click a layer's image, type in a name, and press enter and it's set). This is useful because it speeds up the workflow.

This has been addressed in the development version. If you still find
dialogs behaving this way in latest GIMP 2.3, please file a bug
mentioning them individually.
