GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 341360
GW Recurring Meetings Scheduled Past Daylight Savings Display Wrong Time [NEEDS SERVER FIX]
Last modified: 2013-09-10 13:54:30 UTC
Please describe the problem: I got this from our users, and indeed it's broken. If you schedule a meeting from today all the way until the end of the year on the first of the month the time of the meeting is moved back after the time change that happens in the fall. I think possibly what's happening is that both GW and Evo are both trying to make an adjustment here and therefore it's an hour off. Steps to reproduce: 1. Book a meeting to recur on the first of the month for 12 months @ 9-10am 2. Send appointment 3. Click out to November and December and the meeting displays 8-9am Actual results: Expected results: Does this happen every time? Other information:

The utc times generated at the server end does not adjust for the daylight savings changes. Server defect filed https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=191807.
This would also require a fix in EDS. This has been targetted for evolution 2.10 as it requires adding new API's to EDS. It will be available in SLED10 SP1.
This was fixed in the groupwise post office, closing.
