Description Runar Ingebrigtsen 2006-05-10 19:14:10 UTC
Please describe the problem:
I've got a CD with some minor scratches, not big enough to cause any problems
for any players. Even Sound Juicer plays the CD well.

Ripping doesn't work, though.

Steps to reproduce:
1. Insert CD.
2. Rip.

Actual results:
Read error from medium.

Expected results:
Sound Juicer should be able to rip as much as possible, skipping the few minor
sequences with scratches and warning the user that "ripping failed so many
minutes out in track so because of reading problems, please check your CD for
scratches."

Does this happen every time?
Yes.

Other information:
Consider asking whether to skip this track instead of retrying so much that it
spends the whole night to finish.

Great program, however. Should replace gnome-cd.
