Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-04-27 11:28:42 UTC
That bug has been described on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/evolution/+bug/41647

"When I add a task in Evolution, then open the task and change the group, the gnome-panel calendar applet duplicates the task rather than simply changing the group.

Method to reproduce:
1. Create a task in Evolution.
2. Click on the calendar applet on the gnome panel and see the task properly listed under the calendar. Click on the calendar applet again to hide the popup.
3. Open the task in Evolution and change the group to something different, then save the task.
4. Repeat #2, and see the duplicated task.

This also seems to carry over for task deletion. Follow the same steps as above, but delete the task instead of renaming it. The task will still show up in the calendar applet popup.

I apologize if I filed this under the wrong package, I'm not sure which one has the problem.

This is using the latest Dapper packages as of Apr. 25."

This is probably the same issue as bug 152155.
Comment 2 Ross Burton 2007-06-27 07:55:06 UTC
It's not the same issue, 152155 is about processing ESource changes, this is about processing ECalView changes.

bugzilla.gnome.org is being replaced by gitlab.gnome.org. We are closing all old bug reports in Bugzilla which have not seen updates for many years.

If you can still reproduce this issue in a currently supported version of GNOME (currently that would be 3.38), then please feel free to report it at https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gnome-panel/-/issues/

Thank you for reporting this issue and we are sorry it could not be fixed.
