Raw to jpeg export function

Would be really good to be able to export raw pictures to jpeg. Features for this needed are: - Export single picture - Export multiple pitctures in batch - Resize while exporting (fixed pixles, percentage of original, maintain aspect ratio, ...) - Set quality (compression of jpg)
This is related to a more specific bug, bug #336015, that just deals with exporting to Flickr. This bug and that one should probably be merged.
The bug mentioned in flickr related, mine is not flickr related at all. I just want to convert my pictures on my local harddrive. Okay after this conversion you could upload them to flickr. I see my request as a first step, if this is done the flickr upload seems to be "for free".
Here's a wild idea related to exporting from raw. Please let me know if it's too much off topic and deserves it's own bugzilla. When exporting, I would like f-spot to fire up ufraw and then let me adjust the parameters. Alternatively it would let choose to convert the picture with the default conversion profile. After I've adjusted the parameters f-spot, instead of saving the resulting jpeg (several MB) it would only save the ufraw conversion profile (a couple of KB) as a version of the picture. Then, when viewing the picture, f-spot would dynamically create the appropriate image from the RAW and the conversion profile. /David

the code for exporting whatever images into jpeg is in svn from a long time now. It's used e.g. in export to picasa
The DevelopInUfraw extension sounds like what's needed here. It's not an exporter, which more closely reflects the fact that the jpegs aren't exactly going anywhere remote.
We can pretty much do that now, closing.
