Description Sebastien Bacher 2006-04-07 09:50:34 UTC
That bug has been opened on https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+source/nautilus/+bug/38570

"make jpg File of the dimension 6556x99 Pixels and place ist in the directory ~/Templates.

If you restart nautilus, it will eat up all CPU.

Actually the thumbnail of the JPG is shown correctly if it's in another directory !

Copying the JPG File to the directory ~/Templates results also in eating 100% CPU after copying the file (But copy File to another locations works perfectly !)

This did not happen in Ubuntu Breezy but happens in dapper (upgraded from breezy). I could reproduce this behaviour on a colleagues laptop (Ubuntu dapper also).

Nautilus is Version 2.14.0, in Ubuntu dapper System which is up to date.

Do not hesitate to contact me, if you have further questions."
