"Short question: how about giving /home/ a gnome 'people' emblem by default?

Motivation:
Fon non-techies, the *nix filesystem is very confusing. They should only be interested in their home-folder, and therefor we abstract the filesystem a bit (gnome-vfs, left-panel of nautilus) and make open-dialogs start in home, etc.
However, sometimes you *do* end up in the root dir. This can be confusing. Just a subtle hint ("Hey, look here!"), would be nice. After a while people might even recognize that their documents are in in /home/name :)

Ow, sorry I wasn't complete:
I use latest Dapper, nautilus 2.14.0-0ubuntu4

The ~ dirs have specials icons (like /home/eric), a small house-thing, but /home itself doesn't. Sometimes you end up in the root of your filesystem, while 99% of the time you don't care for anything but /home. That's why the parent dir could use a friendly 'people' icon, I think. Recognition.

The screenshot provided shows the situation as I mean it to be, but I put that people-icon on /home myself. Previously it looked just like the icon for /lib and /etc dirs."


I don't think that's required, people have enough way to go to their user directory from the desktop or sidebar or toolbar but I'm forwarding it to get upstream decision
