GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 336682
Show keyboard shortcuts for Calendar views
Last modified: 2017-08-24 10:35:26 UTC
cool. just found out that we actually added the shortcuts to the calendar to make the views accessible as discussed for the keyboard shortcuts review. great. but how can a user find out? it's nowhere described in the UI, and it is not mentioned in evolution/help/C/evolution.xml. so it's control+j work week view control+k weeK view control+l List view control+m Month view control+y daY view note: this bug is both about the UI and the user docs. don't know if it's easy to get it into a menu item though, because they are in the view folder in cvs and not in the ui folder in cvs. adding srini to cc as i would like to see a comment on this, especially if it's hard or easy to get this into the UI. thanks in advance.
Confirming.
Guess, should be possible to add to menu in UI.
Moving to Calendar.
fixed in the 2.8 xml user guide
someone get me a coffee, this isn't about the docs but about the UI. reopening.
Maybe in the calendar, View > Current View > $Item could be replaced View > Current View > $Item (Ctrl+$X) ? Note to myself: In the new user docs this is in calendar-layout-views.page.
Either I do something wrong or this just stopped working since whichever version, but I have a Day View selected, I press the key combo (seem comment #0, ctrl+something), and it doesn't do anything, I'm still in the Day View, even I pressed a key for another view. I fixed both things and made it look like Andre suggested in the previous comment. Created commit 108fd8c in evo master (3.25.92+)
