GNOME Bugzilla – Bug 336116
Incremental backward search in the history
Last modified: 2006-03-27 04:56:44 UTC
Implement an incremental backward search in the terminal history. It should be activated by a key combination like ctrl+shift+f (or a menu item), and when activated, a entry widget pops up on top of the vte widget at the bottom of the screen, and as you type, it will scroll up to the first match, but highlighting all visible matches, like evince does... It may need some help from vte (but it *is* possible to implement it fully in g-t too.
